July 6, 2026

The Council of Commissioners takes the July 2 privacy incident at Rosemere High School very seriously and has been receiving regular updates on the measures being implemented to support affected individuals.

The 91̽»¨app will be providing three years of credit monitoring and identity theft protection services, at no cost, to all individuals affected by the Rosemere High School privacy incident.

A letter containing additional information will be emailed to affected families this evening. Further details regarding registration and access to these services will follow shortly.

On behalf of the Council of Commissioners, I would like to thank families for their patience and cooperation as we continue working to mitigate the impact of this incident and strengthen our safeguards for the future.

We also encourage families who have not yet done so to submit the Acknowledgement and Confirmation Form as soon as possible. These confirmations remain an important part of our mitigation efforts and help us verify that the information has been deleted and not shared further.

While credit protection services are being arranged, we continue to recommend that affected individuals place a free credit lock on their credit file with Equifax Canada and TransUnion Canada as an added precaution.
